This blog analyzes specific points in Soviet history and their role in the larger themes of the 20th century. To fully appreciate this blog it should be coupled with the other contributions to this project which can be found under the home tab.

Many of the posts in this blog deal with cultural tendencies and transformations over Soviet history. To me, cultural analysis allows for a better understanding of the downfall of the Soviet Union and how imperative citizens were in that downfall.
